Magician picks up ladders an places one at each end of the front of the platform.

The board is then placed across the ladders, making a bridge.

A strip of cloth is rolled out along the board, making a soft pad for the lady to lie upon.

Lady now lies down on the board, face up, arms comfortably folded.

Magician raises the head end of the board a bit, enough to remove the ladder with other hand.

Ladder is set as far away as possible, completely off the platform at the rear.

The board with the lady now suspends out from the other ladder without falling.

The other ladder is now also removed from under the board and set off the platform to the rear as well.

Lady on the board is now floating in the air. Magician now walks completely around the whole set-up, proving there are no connections to drapes or other stage props.

Magician steps up on platform behind lady, again moving both ladders still further out of the way.

He holds a hoop up to show it is solid.

He then sweeps it down over lady one time only, starting at her feet, across her body , off at her head and up into the air again.

He now walks around to the front side of lady. ( the audience side ) He walks the hoop over her again, passing it over her feet, along her body and and off at her head, then off to the footlights to show up-close that it is a simple solid hoop.

Lady on board appears to be freely floating in the air with no visible means of support. The eyes and minds of the audience simply cannot believe what they are seeing, and well deserved bows are now taken.

The ladders are then replaced under board again. The lady is helped off the board and assisted back to her seat in the audience. She is just as fooled as everyone else.

Magician takes his final bows.
